The Digital Design Studio (DDS), the commercial arm of Glasgow School of Art, is dedicated to 3D visualisation and interaction. It does this through academic, research and commercial activities.

With a long established background in harness manufacturing, but faced with increasingly fierce competition from the low labour rate economies, Virtual Interconnect personnel were forced to critically re–appraise and redesign their own Wire Harness Design process.
